Hidden amongst the vineyards of Lake Breeze Wines, Handpicked Festival is about spending your day stretched out on a picnic blanket, sipping our family wines and enjoying regional food from an array of local food trucks. All this while enjoying the familiar tunes from Australia’s top musicians just meters away…that’s Handpicked.

We started as a ‘small concert’ in our backyard…

It all behan back in 2014 and since then we’ve hosted the likes of John Butler, Matt Corby & Birds of Tokyo and welcome over 6,000 people each year! But our small concept values remain the same.

 
 

  • We’ve stayed true to our vision no matter how much bigger this event has got and still fight for the 1 percenters like DIY decor, magical spaces and the little feminine touches!

  • It seems like everyone is using the term boutique but we’re sticking hard and fast to it - doing everything we can to maintain a small country vibe where you can spread out on the lawn and while away the arvo. Thats the vision!

  • This event idea was brewed around Nanny’s kitchen table and we’re all still involved to this day from Nanny & Grandpa right down to the littlest cousins!

Handpicked Festival was once just a crazy idea brewed over Nanny’s kitchen table! Today our festival is run by the eldest grandkids Lauren & Kate but still with plenty of input from the entire family!
