GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  • Entry is at your own risk. The right to refuse entry is reserved.

  • All persons, bags and containers are subject to a full search at entry. Prohibited items (alcohol, glass, umbrellas, shade tents, fireworks) will be confiscated except illegal drugs, which will be handed over to police.

  • Photo ID is required to purchase and consume alcohol.

  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

  • Lost property will be held as a courtesy for two days post event.

  • This is a non BYO event.

  • As members of the audience, you consent to being included in photos, sound and live audio recordings that can be used by the promoter or promoter approved media.

  • Handpicked and Lake Breeze Wines shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or within the premises.

  • Tent City & Campervan Zone tickets will be redeemed at the Camping gate for a wristband. Your wristband must be worn for the duration of the Festival. Wristbands are non-transferable. Broken wristbands will not be honoured.

  • Patrons will be evicted from the event if they are affected by alcohol or drugs or dangerous activities. Anyone found supplying alcohol to minors will be evicted from the venue and may face criminal charges.

  • Smoking (including the use of electronic cigarettes) is only permitted within designated smoking areas within the venue.

YOUTH POLICY

Handpicked Festival is fun for the whole family. If you're bringing your little ones along, be sure to familiarise yourself with our Youth Policy so we can ensure your crew's safety at the event.

  • To ensure the safety and security for all attending Handpicked Festival ("the event"), and those under the age of 18 ("a minor"), the Youth Policy forms part of our Conditions of Entry for the Event.

  • Youth Event Ticketholders aged under 18 years MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult holding a valid Adult Event ticket when entering the Event and at ALL times whilst at the Event.

  • Youth Event Ticketholders aged under 18 years NOT accompanied by a responsible adult holding a valid Adult Event ticket may be denied entry into the Event or removed from the Event.

  • Children under 3 at the time of entering the Event, are admitted into the Event free and must be accompanied by a parent and/or responsible adult holding a valid Adult Event ticket when entering the Event and at ALL times whilst at the Event. Those aged 3 or older must purchase an Event ticket.

  • Minors must not engage in any illegal or disruptive activities at any time whilst at the Event. This includes underage drinking, use of illicit substances, or any disruptive or illegal behaviour. Any breach of these conditions may result in the eviction of the responsible adult and all accompanying minors from the Event, police prosecution, and/or fines may apply. Any such removal from the Event as a result of these conditions will not constitute grounds for a refund.

  • If you are a responsible adult planning to accompany any minors at the Event, please consider this responsibility very carefully and moderate your alcohol intake to ensure that you can responsibly take care of any minors in your care. If you are unable to commit to the above, you should reconsider if you are the right person to be accompanying minors at the Event.

  • Responsible adults with minors in their care should note that they may not be able to enter certain bars or licensed areas on site with the minors in their company.

  • Under the SA Liquor Act, a responsible adult is an adult who is:

    • a parent of a minor standing in the position, and undertaking responsibilities of the parent of the minor

    • the spouse or domestic partner of the minor

  • All Event ticketholders will be checked for ID at the entry gates. For under 18s who don't have a driver's license (Learner's Permit) or a current valid passport, we will also accept a copy of your birth certificate PLUS one of the following:

    • Student ID Card

    • Bus Pass

    • Bank Account Statement in your name

TENT CITY/CAMPERVAN CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  • Tent City Camping charges are per person - each person camping will need their own Tent City ticket.

  • Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced.

  • There are NO powered sites available and you are not allowed to bring your own generator due to noise curfews.

  • Cars, campervans or any other vehicles will NOT be allowed in Tent City. Your vehicles MUST be parked in the Festival Car Park for safety reasons.

  • We do not sell campsites as the campgrounds are not divided into individual sites. When you & your group arrive, you will be allocated enough space for your tent/s (approximately a 4m x 4m site). Overly elaborate campsites are discouraged, PLEASE DO NOT GO OVER THE TOP WITH YOUR CAMPING SETUP.

  • Access to the Tent City campsite opens on the morning of Handpicked Festival at 11:30am. You will NOT be allowed to drive OUT again as the road will be closed for event patrons coming into the Festival.

  • You must DEPART from Tent City by 11:30am on the Sunday morning after the event.

  • You must show your camping ticket when entering Tent City, from here you will be given a wrist band that needs to be shown to re-enter the campsite when the Festival finishes at approximately 11:00pm.

  • Please ensure you are respectable of others when returning back to the campsite. We do have the right to evict any persons being disruptive, playing loud music, talking, or partying after 12:00am.

  • 24-hour Security will be onsite at Tent City and all security personnel have the right to search bags and vehicles for glass, alcohol, weapons, illegal substances, cooking equipment etc bought within the campground. All queries and concerns onsite should be directed to security personnel.

  • The site is an ALCOHOL FREE ZONE and is unlicensed. You are NOT ALLOWED to bring OR consume any alcohol within the Tent City campground. Bags will be checked on arrival.

  • We do not allow drugs within Handpicked Festival or within Tent City.

  • Campfires, open fires, fireworks, flares and any type of gas equipment will NOT BE ALLOWED on site. If you light a fire onsite, you will be removed from the site and may be the subject of police action.

  • Toilets will be available for campers in Tent City. Please be kind and respectful to the environment and other campers when using our facilities.

  • Food and water will be available to purchase all night, and the following morning. You are not allowed to cook in any form on the Festival & Tent City site.

  • Please make sure you are respectful and remove any litter from your site on departure.

  • Animals are NOT permitted on the camping grounds or within the festival site.
