2023 Handpicked Festival…we’re calling it a “Spectacular Resurgenc!e!” Phew!
This year's Handpicked Festival was a successful return, a testament to resilience and the incredible support of our amazing Handpicker community…thats you guys…thank you from the bottom of our hearts! The day was a celebration of music, great wine, incredible food and community. We welcomed your guys first with the spiritul sounds of Uncle Moogy, who graced us with a heartfelt Welcome to Country, setting the stage for a day filled with incredible performances.
The musical journey unfolded with Rob Edwards, whose soulful tunes set the perfect tone for the day. As the sun bathed the vineyards, the stage came alive with the raw talent of Budjerah, followed by the timeless melodies of The Waifs. Ball Park Music brought their infectious energy, paving the way for the anthems of Temper Trap. Ziggy Alberts serenaded the crowd with his acoustic charm, and Lime Cordiale kept the vibes high with their eclectic tunes. Finishing the night off was none other than the iconic Melanie C, who closed the festival with an unforgettable DJ set. The beats resonated through the vineyards, creating a magical atmosphere under the stars.
But this year wasn't just about the music; it was a celebration of perfect weather! Phew! The skies blessed us with sunshine and warmth, a stark contrast to the challenges we faced in the preceding years. It was more than a festival; it was a collective exhale, a joyous reunion after the storm that tested our resilience.
