THE ESSENTIALS:
-
Kids 3-12years will require a KIDS Festival Pass.
Kids 12 and over require a full ticket.
Kids under 3 are free.
Please be aware that all kids and children under 18 must be with a responsible adult at all times as per our Youth Policy which you can see here.
Handpicked security staff will not allow kids and children to enter or exit the event grounds unless they are in the care of a responsible adult.

We want families to feel safe and comfortable while camping at Handpicked Festival, which is why we have dedicated space within our Tent City reserved for families.
Upon arrival, families with kids can settle into a designated area within the zone, within Tent City. While it's not separately fenced off, this family-friendly section is slightly removed from the main zone to provide a more relaxed atmosphere.
Rest assured, it’s still within the secure, overall fenced area of Tent City.
Please note; children 3 years and over will still need their own Tent City Pass to camp. (Ages 2 and under are free).
We look forward to creating a memorable and enjoyable camping experience for you and your family!

Kids and children under 18 years must be with a responsible adult at all times. You can learn more about our Youth Policy here.
Unfortunately at events such as these, children may be exposed to offensive language and/or inappropriate behaviour. We apologise but can take no responsibility for what persons under 18 are exposed to and it is the complete responsibility of the parent or legal guardian.
YOUTH POLICY
Handpicked Festival is fun for the whole family. If you're bringing your little ones along, be sure to familiarise yourself with our Youth Policy so we can ensure your crew's safety at the event.
To ensure the safety and security for all attending Handpicked Festival ("the event"), and those under the age of 18 ("a minor"), the Youth Policy forms part of our Conditions of Entry for the Event.
Youth Event Ticketholders aged under 18 years MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult holding a valid Adult Event ticket when entering the Event and at ALL times whilst at the Event.
Youth Event Ticketholders aged under 18 years NOT accompanied by a responsible adult holding a valid Adult Event ticket may be denied entry into the Event or removed from the Event.
Children under 3 at the time of entering the Event, are admitted into the Event free and must be accompanied by a parent and/or responsible adult holding a valid Adult Event ticket when entering the Event and at ALL times whilst at the Event. Those aged 3 or older must purchase an Event ticket.
Minors must not engage in any illegal or disruptive activities at any time whilst at the Event. This includes underage drinking, use of illicit substances, or any disruptive or illegal behaviour. Any breach of these conditions may result in the eviction of the responsible adult and all accompanying minors from the Event, police prosecution, and/or fines may apply. Any such removal from the Event as a result of these conditions will not constitute grounds for a refund.
If you are a responsible adult planning to accompany any minors at the Event, please consider this responsibility very carefully and moderate your alcohol intake to ensure that you can responsibly take care of any minors in your care. If you are unable to commit to the above, you should reconsider if you are the right person to be accompanying minors at the Event.
Responsible adults with minors in their care should note that they may not be able to enter certain bars or licensed areas on site with the minors in their company.
Under the SA Liquor Act, a responsible adult is an adult who is:
a parent of a minor standing in the position, and undertaking responsibilities of the parent of the minor
the spouse or domestic partner of the minor
All Event ticketholders will be checked for ID at the entry gates. For under 18s who don't have a driver's license (Learner's Permit) or a current valid passport, we will also accept a copy of your birth certificate PLUS one of the following:
